cheers for that I should just scrape in with a couple of days spare if I apply 3 weeks before the current one expires on the 26th Sept. I did the kerfuffle on the 30 th June. Phew
I'd love to hope this is true what you state, although I dont understand why the Bangkok Immigration state this: "It is important to note that renewal of a Thai retirement visa is subject to the same requirements as when applying for the visa for the first time. In addition to this any proof of funds in your Thai bank account must have been deposited and cleared at least 3 months prior to your visa renewal application date. Thai Retirement Visa - Immigration Bangkok".So now Im even more confused. Can you tell me your source that advises only 2 mths is required for the monies prior to renewal? I have my fingers xed you are correct .
