Is it possible for me to talk to the person at the airport who stamps my visa on arrival... do you know?

I'm happy to pay the fine I just don't want to waste a day at immigration...I was hoping to do it at the airport when i arrive, but it seems I can't.

An annoying miscalculation for 1 day. Thanks
