Hello everyone. Just had my first trip to Thailand a few weeks ago and fell in love with the place. Im kinda throwing around the idea of quitting my job in the U.S. and staying in Thailand for about a year to see if its something I would like to do long term. So question is, is there an easy Visa for one year or might as well get the regular tourist visa and just go through the hassle of extensions when they're needed and or leave the country then returning?
I entered on a visa exemption. That has now expired, but I am here on visa amnesty until July 31. My question is: can I transfer my visa exemption/visa amnesty into a non-B in country? Or, can I transfer it to a tourist visa (in country), which can then be transferred to a non-B?
I don’t think a visa run is a valid possibility at the moment, but correct me if I’m wrong. I have been offered and accepted a job with a school here. Also if it matters, I am of American nationality. Thanks.
If, by the chance, I found a job and the company provides legal documents to work in Thailand , and my visa follow the current amnesty till July 2020, what will be the process to follow with IO etc. Going to a neighbour country to issue the visa is still necessary? Thank you all for the support
