Should I get health insurance in Thailand, or is a Belgian health insurance good too?

Can I open bank account in Thailand if I get my visa?

What should I do if I return to Belgium after, for example, 5 months? Should I share that somewhere?

Ik ben Belg en woon in België. Omdat ik dikwijls naar mijn vriendin in Thailand ga, wil ik een visum OA aanvragen. Waar vraag ik dit type visum het beste aan.

Moet ik een ziekteverzekering in Thailand aangaan, of is een Belgische ziekteverzekering ook goed?

Kan ik een bankrekening openen in Thailand als ik mijn visum heb?

Wat moet ik doen als ik na bijvoorbeeld 5 maanden even terugkeer naar België? Moet ik dat ergens doorgeven?

A couple of updates. Tried opening a bank account at Bangkok Bank in Tha Muang on METV yesterday and clerk got a white binder of rules out and denied me. She was polite and just told me what kind of visa’s would be accepted. Swapped my USA sim card with my Thai sim card in phone and was able to do two factor authentication and transferred $Baht to friends account using wise. Limit of 49999 baht on transfer in wise.

Can someone give me some constructive advice and direction on what to do please. I understand to obtain a marriage visa, you need to have a Thai bank account of 400,000 baht. But the bank does not allow opening of bank account with a tourist visa. So how then can I go about this? Thank you in advance for the right direction. 🙏
