Hi all! Wondering if anyone’s had any experience like this..
I’m a UK mortgage broker, working for a firm under a network but LTD company director of my own Ltd company.
I pay myself from my Ltd company however I receive income monthly from my firm, this is paid into my Ltd company account. The firm is essentially my ‘client’ whose clients I then look after. As I’m a Ltd company would the embassy be that interested in them? (I’m hoping not)
My question is what documents will be requested? I absolutely don’t want to provide a contract if I can help it.
Would a letter from my Ltd company to me, tax calculations, personal bank statements and proof of savings be enough?
Advice please for an expat friend contemplating closing a private limited company he co-owns with a Thai (as per 51% requirement) . The Thai partner is not interested to keep the company either. The company has been dormant and kept for the potential of buying property here. However, things have changed for him and he doesn't need the company anymore.
To not incur any more costs, like having to pay for the closing of a company (apparently costs like 15 to 20K?), se wants to offer the company up for someone else to take over - who can pay for the change of names, addresses...etc...
Any suggestions for the best way to do this or any other sound advice regarding this?
