90 day reporting / TM30 update at Bangkok today. I had my supposed TM30 from landlord which was presented on my ED/Visa (USA passport) 2 month extension back in May without question. Today, I was notified that it was never filed (when I submitted 90 day documents). I smiled and said okay, no problem. A good attitude really helps! She escorted me from the "A" section (90 day report) to the "B" section (TM30) which was crazy with confusion but again, with patience and a positive attitude was helped through the process. New forms filled out, copies of passport, visa, copy of my lease and current stamp presented back to "B" folks with 800 baht fine and a friendly reminder to give to my landlord for reimbursment. 30 minutes later, receipt(s) received and a reminder to keep the TM30(receipt) in my passport along with the departure card and 90 day reporting. Back to Window "A", presented everything, big smile from IO a big thank you from me and I was done.

It is frustrating to say the least but really, a good attitude is one of the keys to success.
