Can I stay in Thailand after my employment contract ends if I have a valid working visa?

Respected sir/madam.

I am in Thailand now and working here, my employment contract will be finish on January 12th, 2022. But my working visa (Non-B) and work permit will be finish on June, 2022. So can I stay here in Thailand until my Visa finish or I have to go back to my country once employment contract finish? 

Is it possible to apply for covid extension visa for 2 months (without leaving Thailand) if my visa and work permit will be canceled along with my employment contract? 

Kindly suggest , what should I do the next. 🙏🏻
