I am a South African and currently have a 30 day tourist stamp that expires on the 26th of Jan. I started working at a school this week and was informed that I need to go and write a TOIEC test and get police clearance before the school can apply for my work permit and visa. The school did not tell me this during the interview before I came. I am lost. Can all of that be done before the date stamped in my passport runs out in 21 days? My boyfriend who is also here with a 30 day tourist visa and I don't have the money for him to study right now and get an educational visa. I am busy looking for work for him as well. Can you please advise us on what the best option is. Thank you
