Hi - just wanted to update on my previous post and quest to get a multi entry tourist visa applying from to the Thai Embassy in the UK. I had a positive outcome and just got my VISA, so hoping this might be of help to some ! As I left my job to travel I couldn't get a letter from my employer, I did however put together a self declaration, stating why I wanted to visit Thailand for 6 months, my plans to travel around SEA and how much $$ i had with me. I also had a ticket showing a trip to Cambodia after 60 days as I read on here that it would help with my application. I am Italian and resident in the UK - to prove my residence and to be able to apply through Thai Embassy in UK I submitted my proof of settled status, and a translated and certified letter from the Italian Embassy that shows I am registered here as a resident. These documents alongside all others (bank statements etc. ). The processing time was 3 days.
