Will I receive my non-B visa from the Thai consulate in Ho Chi Minh City by the weekend?

I applied for a non-b visa in Ho Chi Minh City on April 9 but have not received any response. Can you tell me if there is any possibility that the consulate will return the results by the weekend, especially in Ho Chi Minh City?

I have a job that is close to the onboarding date and I still have not received the visa results yet

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about the status of their Non-B visa application submitted in Ho Chi Minh City, expressing concern about the timing due to an upcoming job onboarding. Responses indicate that the consulate may have a backlog due to recent holidays, suggesting that it has only been five working days since the application.

It's only been 5 working days and no doubt there's a backlog due to holidays. Be patient.

Oh, you're right. April 16th is a normal working day for them. I think it was a holiday here in Thailand

it depends, they may follow both holidays.

If they need some input from TH government agency/ministry (that is located in TH), there might be delays.🤞
