Will I receive a 30 or 60-day visa on arrival in Thailand as an Australian citizen?
Hi all.
We are arriving in Thailand on Tuesday 26th May, we had planned to stay 60 days on tour around Thailand.
Does anyone know if we will get a 30 or 60 day visa free period stamp on Tuesday.

Lawrie White they say that they are arriving on the 26th. Today is the 22nd. Quite a task to get a 60 day tourist visa in that time frame.

You are not being realistic when the application web site says 2 -3 weeks.

You should have got the 60 days Before you left then not have to ask dumb question 5 minutes work on e visa

As the change isnt published in the Royal Gazette yet, you will get 60 days next Tuesday.
Even after the pubication in Royal Gazette there are 15 days after publication to get the new rules in effect
