Will I face issues entering Thailand with a Non-B visa after previous immigration scrutiny?

Another quick question. I stayed a few years in Thailand on a combination of ED visas, tourist visas and 30 day exemptions up until last year, until I started getting hassled at immigration. I left Thailand for 6 months then came back and got interrogated at immigration again but finally got in on a 30 day. I then left Thailand for Bali [for 1 month] and recently got my 3 month non B visa as I have a teaching job which a work permit will be obtained for. I will be leaving Bali for Thailand in a week and wondered whether I am likely to have any problems at Surat Thani immigration. Will a non b get me in without too many questions or should I expect to be questioned and asked to produce any documents, proof of address, funds or anything like that? Thanks for your comments in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about potential challenges upon re-entry to Thailand with a Non-B visa after experiencing scrutiny at immigration in the past. They inquire whether they should expect questions and what documents might be necessary during entry.

Would definitely remove “lives at Kho Samui” from your facebook page they’ll see your record look at that and refuse entry.

OK, thanks, I'll bear that in mind.

Doesn't it confirm my intended address?

Refuse me on what basis? I previously lived in Samui and will be living. So they would refuse me because I hadn't mentioned leaving Samui at various stages?

What do you mean? Koh Samui is the area I previously resided and plan to reside so it would be accurate. Plus, do they look at Facebook pages for intel when entering Thailand? I don't regularly update info on Facebook. I think it still says I work in Japan. I didn't think we were required to keep Facebook up to date for legal matters.

Will onward travel be required? I will be getting a work visa and working for a year so no onward travel plans at the moment. I'll print out a few days paid accommodation with details of long term accommodation.

Thanks for the info..

onward travel is very unlikely to be asked for

a Non Immigrant B visa is better as it allows you to work in combination with the work permit. You can always be asked to show proof of the 20k or equivalent currency in cash, proof of onward travel and proof of accommodation. Be prepared and it is no problem if asked.
