Will I be affected by the new 30-day visa law when I arrive in Thailand on June 4th?
Hey guys, im leaving Tuesday for 35 days to Thailand, I bought my round trip ticket weeks ago. Im worried that the new 30 day law will come into effect before I get their, which will be the 4th of June, if that happens will I get turned away at the airport in Bangkok or is their any other options for the 5 extra days??

I just came in, got 60 days, no check on money, no check on big bags ... in Khon Kaen and its 34 deg ... NZ was 11today 🤔😆

You should be good for 60days. 30 days visa exempt is not in effect yet.

They have to give 15 days notice so you will be fine

It won’t have come into effect by then. You will get 60 days visa exemption.

Hello, even if the law gets implemented by Monday (it won’t) you should be entitled to 1 (7 day) extension after your Visa exempt entry if you haven’t used it previously this year.

but if you haven't completed it you get sent to the back of the line to fill it in. That would suggest they clearly do have access to it.

they dont look at paper because its electronic and they can see it when they scan your passport

Cool applied for dtv...so if I dont get it I can still get 2 mths ??? It would help paid for divemaster course already

If you arrive on the 4th you'll be fine. The new rule hasn't even been published yet and when it is it won't come into effect for a further 15 days
