Hi.

A question regarding immigration in Bangkok queue line. I arrived at 13:37 for doing a change with stamp from old to new passport.

It's 160 people before me when i got my queuing ticket. They close at 16:30 if i'm not misstaken. How does it work? Do i get the change today or do i get a new number for tomorrow or do i just go home and go early?

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author is seeking advice on whether they will be able to change their passport stamp at an immigration office in Bangkok after noticing a long queue of 160 people ahead of them, given that the office closes at 16:30. A comment indicates that if they have a queue ticket, they should be served, and that it is unusual for so many people to be transferring stamps, suggesting the process is typically quick.

If you have a queue ticket you'll be served. Unusual to have so many people transferring stamps to a new passport. It's usually quick.

Everyone that receives a queue will get served on that day, it may be late but you will get served. The window I went to was the same as where you get a re-entry permit area. I thought they would call my name but after waiting a long time I went back up and asked and it had been sitting there waiting for me to pick it up.
