I am on a Non O-A visa that will expire Oct 13,2020. My husband is on Non O (follow visa) that expires May 18, 2020. We just went to immigration to get his extended. He was denied because:
- I don’t have health insurance
- I don’t have a bank book solely in my name
- I need to show proof of pension only in my name
- we transfer monthly over THB 65k into our BKK bank account and immigration says it needs to be double this amount
- our bank balance is not at least THB 400k
This is all new to us? I am not certain why he can’t get his Non O extended until at least the end of my Non O-A as this was already approved?
Thank you in advance for your insights

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing difficulties with the extension of her husband's Non O visa due to several financial and insurance requirements linked to her Non O-A visa. Upon their recent immigration visit, they encountered issues such as the lack of individual health insurance, insufficient bank balance, and requirements for proof of pension funds. The user is unclear about why her husband cannot extend his visa while her Non O-A visa is valid.

You applied for your husband for the Extension of Stay as being a family member of an alien permitted a temporary stay in the Kingdom, this as you have a stay until 13 Oct 2020.
As the new requirements of 31 Oct 2019 your husband needs his own health insurance, this because your stay is based on the Non Immigrant O-A visa. There are no financial requirements for your husband to show, I guess the officer asked you to show how you meet your financial requirements and as you write, if you use a bank account with two names the amount of money is for two people,
Quickly counted, 65.000 Thb a month divided by two is 32,500 Thb a month, times 12 is 390.000 Thb a year, plus the half of the bank account 200.000 Thb. It is not enough to meet the minimum of 800.000 Thb.
as it change between visa and extension of stay can you post or send a pm of your Admitted until 13 Oct 2020 stamp or your permitted up to 13 oct 2020 stamp?
Two options left, or you came into Thailand before the visa expired and got a new stamp Admitted until 13 Oct 2020, or you applied for an Extension of Stay permitted up to 13 Oct 2020.
