Why is there confusion over the duration of the Muay Thai course required for a DTV visa in Thailand?
Everyone is now saying you need to book a 9 month soft power Muay Thai course to get your DTV visa even though the schools are saying 6 months is fine, what’s going on ?
Answer summary
There is currently confusion regarding the duration of the Muay Thai course required to obtain a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand. While many are stating that a 9-month course is necessary, some schools maintain that a 6-month course is acceptable. This discrepancy seems to originate from misunderstandings in the expat community regarding the visa's purpose for long-term stays rather than short visits.
