I went to Savannakhet for Visa run on a Monday morning. What a nightmare. Is it normal for Monday’s to be queuing for hours on end? Or have people started going to Savannakhet due to the booking system in Vientiane?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster experienced long queues during a visa run to Savannakhet on a Monday, raising concerns about whether this is typical or a result of more people opting for this location due to issues with the booking system in Vientiane. Comments indicate that Mondays and Fridays generally see increased traffic at immigration points, likely due to the spillover from the weekend.

From my experience , mondays and Fridays are always hectic at all immigration points due to the overlap of due dates from the weekend.
