Why do negative DTV visa posts attract more interactions than positive ones in expat groups?

After being in this group for awhile. I've noticed something hilarious.

Positive DTV post - barely any interactions

Negative DTV post - lots of interactions and comments. People starting to assume and fear monger. I've entered Thailand on dtv without any issues. I follow all the immigration rules.

Now of course there will be outliers who get denied entry it visa application, but for those very few majority of people do grant entry and dtv. So don't automatically assume and fall into hysteria thinking thinking the worst
Answer summary
The conversation highlights a humorous observation regarding interactions in an expat group: positive posts about the DTV visa receive minimal engagement whereas negative posts draw a larger audience, stirring discussions and fear-mongering among members. The original poster shares their personal experience of entering Thailand without issues while adhering to immigration rules, encouraging others to avoid jumping to conclusions about visa problems. Commenters express their agreement and provide tips, such as printing out visa approval emails, while also noting the mixed reactions of the community.

A lot of us enjoy being away from our home country for extended periods of time, the problem is a lot of people have heard Thailand is a good place to go, a lot of our problems follow us and Thailand of course has a global red light magnet for problems.

I think if you use DTV as its intended purpose and don't abuse it, you'll be fine. I've never had any issue with it, but I only stay a few months a year.

Yes there's so many DTV haters lurking in here who cream their pants when there's a negative post. Very sad life.
