TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion highlights that typically, bank account openings in Thailand, including multi-currency accounts, require in-person visits. Specific mention is made of SCB and its Planet Card, which allows currency conversion and can be managed via an app. Some users have also noted Bangkok Bank as a potential option, although details on current practices are suggested to be verified on the banks' websites.

None if you want to open a FCD you must do it in person.

Have you checked the websites of each major Thai bank? That way you should find the most up to date information for your enquiry? You should find most websites available in English.

SCB planet, very convenient to use for multi currency.
yes even if you already have an account with them. Thailand is not other countries, they like actual physical paperwork and you being present for everything
I see, what if I transferred USD from abroad to my Thai Baht bank account? they just convert it to the same day rate and deposit equivalent Baht into my account?
