Hi Guys I am in the process of receiving my paperworks from my new employer in Phuket to get my Non-Immigrant (B) Business Visa.

I have been with my partner for the past 3 years and officially registered in a De Facto Relationship since 2019 in Australia.

From my understanding Thailand only accepts marriage hence I am seeking your help to see which other options I may have to have my partner with me in Thailand. (My partner is not Thai)

Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer summary

The user is seeking guidance on visa options for their non-Thai partner while they are in the process of obtaining a Non-Immigrant (B) Business Visa in Thailand. They have been in a registered De Facto Relationship for three years. Responses suggest that the only option for the partner may be a tourist visa. Another option explored is the education visa, dependent on the partner's current visa status.

Education visa is a possibility. Totally depends on what visa/extension they are here on now as far as if they could get the initial 90 day Non-ED issued inside the country, have to leave and come back to do it, OR have to go to a thai consulate in another country to get it.

Start looking at schools in the area where you live and see what they say.
