What's the earliest time the CW office allows people to go inside and wait for them to open? Last time (2 years ago) I was there at 8 in the morning and there were already people waiting in line inside.

I'm on 60 tourist visa and going for the first extension soon. I have a walking hard cast on my leg for a (not serious) broken ankle and I'm worried that they might think I'd want an extension for medical reasons which is not the case at all. I have my flights back home booked for next month and I can show them my itinerary. Will they ask for a medical certificate just because they see my leg cast?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post asks about the earliest time to arrive at the CW office for a tourist visa extension, mentioning a previous experience with long lines. The user is concerned about being mistaken for seeking a medical extension due to a leg cast but has confirmed travel plans. Comments suggest that the office may be less busy currently and reassure the user that they likely won't be asked for medical documentation.

As Tod said you are in luck. You should be in and out quickly.

Take care...stay safe.

They aren't gonna think you're there for a medical extension if you haven't gotten your first "normal" 30 day extension yet, nor will they ask for onward travel.

you need, copies of

data page of your passport

your visa

your entry stamp

your TM6 departure card

a filled out TM7 application with a passport sized photo, and 1900baht

You want a queue number for section J <- they do tourist visa extensions

The good news is it's almost a ghost town out there now that the free amnesty is in effect and pretty much no matter what time you get there you won't be there all that long

I'd say show up around 9 and you should be out by 9:45
