Hey Fam,

I’m currently filling out the DTV application and was curious what you guys put for number 6 below.

6. Certificate of criminal record clearance from the country of nationality or the country where the application is submitted. 

Am just curious where did you guys pull this info from?

Also, I was curious is it better to send out the app as “Business Owner,” as I am a business owner (but I haven’t taken any owner distributions or gave myself a paycheck yet) or apply a “Freelance,”￼ as I also trade options on the NYSE (I trade within both my personal and business accounts).

The ACRO report take 30 days to come though

when you reply, make sure to take the box and pay for the actual certificate otherwise you just get a PDF file which does not clarify for the regulations for Visa acceptance

You have to submit an application to the police, it shows any convictions you have. Its not free and mine took about a month to come back

Since your profile photo has NYC so are you American? If so a fingerprint background check from the FBI or possibly from the NY State Police might be needed.
