What should I know when applying for a Non-O visa from Australia, specifically regarding accommodation details?
Hi. Im Australian applying for a o visa from Australia. Im on the official Thai E-Visa site. I can only see OA visa for retirement entry. Not just normal O visa.
Also it's asking for accommodation address details. Do I have to book this accommodation now? And if so for how long?

I put down a hotel that I was familiar with as my address. Never made a booking and ended up leasing elsewhere before I arrived.

I did mine 60 days before I left Australia had all the right papers still was not approved before my departure date so I did a e visa 4 days before departure. Went thru ok. But It was approved 2 weeks after I arrived in Thailand. I was not aware you can still use it . I thought you had to have it approved before u left Australia

Kenneth Owens You can exit and re-enter using your eVisa. If your Non-O was not issued how/why did you do a tourist visa within 4 days of entry? You paid for two visas and only got one after you entered Thailand, strange.

Graham Seal read slowly 🐌 👌. I said I applied for Non O it was not approved. So I was advised buy Thailand e visa get a E visa ( 60 day) so i did.
I was not aware that the Non O would be approved after I left Australia. As it was so when I got it 2 weeks ago I got it stamped with Non O stamp for the 90 days to get retirement.

Kenneth Owens What are you talking about? The eVisa is for 90 days retirement visa, OK.
No 60 days, that is no any visa at all, 60 days visa exemption for Australian passports. Nothing to buy.
