TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat shared their recent experience of reentering Bangkok with a DTV visa, reporting no issues during the process. Some commenters countered that while this may be true for some, others have had problems entering Thailand, highlighting the inconsistency of immigration officers. The conversation touches upon concerns regarding social media monitoring and the sharing of personal experiences among expats.

Do you really think being anonymous is to irk you? There are many things to be thoughtful about considering the monitoring of social media and just random "somaritans" with nothing to do who might report you just because.. also, mind the defamation laws that can be applied in mysterious ways. Why would someone want to take even minor risk to satisfy some dude's curiosity? Some people just prefer to be cautious especially when denied entry/ having a quarrel with an officer

It’s not fear mongering. That’s yall favorite term πŸ˜‚it’s gonna be fine for many people but some people absolutely will have issues entering because the rules are so flimsy and it’s up to whatever IO is standing there that day. That’s real, and people just share their experiences so others know what to look out for. Yall are perfection mongering. And it’s not perfect. Glad you got in no problem hope you don’t run into any in the future.
