I'm currently in the "Under Consideration" period for the COVID visa extension (in Chiang Mai). When I go back for the follow-up meeting in 2 weeks, what should I expect? Do I need to bring anything besides my passport? Should I expect much questioning? Is it quick?

Thanks!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
During your follow-up meeting for the COVID visa extension in Chiang Mai, you should expect a straightforward process. Bring only your passport, and possibly the blue receipt from your original application. Typically, there will be no extensive questioning as this was addressed during your initial application. The appointment should be quick, depending on the office's current workload.

>When I go back for the follow-up meeting in 2 weeks, what should I expect?

Nothing. They'll take your passport, and give you the remaining balance of the time.

> Do I need to bring anything besides my passport?

Maybe the blue receipt

>Should I expect much questioning?

No.

>Is it quick?

Yes (assuming there's no queue).

99.9% you walk in with your passport and walk out with your extension stamp. All the questions would've happened at your original application

Just your passport. Either you will get your stamp or not, but normally you will. How quick it is depends on how busy the office is... ๐Ÿ™‚
