I'm from Germany and I've been looking for a way to get the DTV visa for Thailand for quite a while now. Unfortunately, it's pretty difficult to find remote jobs here in Germany that meet the visa requirements or allow working in Thailand legally.
I'm really curious:
What kind of jobs do you have that qualified you for the DTV visa?
Does anyone know of any German companies that offer remote work in Thailand for the DTV visa?
# I would give anything to get this visa. If anyone needs an employee, I'm here.

Iโd really appreciate any tips or insights.
Thanks a lot and greetings from Germany! ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the challenges of obtaining a DTV visa in Thailand while residing in Germany, particularly focusing on finding remote job opportunities that meet the visa requirements. Several community members share their experiences and suggest options such as using a personal business in Germany or exploring the soft power route through cultural courses like Muay Thai or cooking. A consensus highlights that applicants cannot work for Thai companies, reinforcing the need for remote work options that comply with visa regulations.
On the main DTV FB page someone posted about getting a DTV via drop shipping and was advised it would be tough to get.Check that group, you can see the range of jobs and businesses used to get the DTV.
I do work as a management consultant and actually do have a portion of virtual work. Also have been in business for many years and could show reasonable income.

You can not work for a Thai company, non Thai company only. You can do the Softpower DTV, take a course Muay Thai, cooking etc or medical treatment.

You cannot have a Thai employer as a means of getting a DTV, that is not "remote"
