TLDR : Answer Summary
Currently, individuals on a Digital Work Visa (DTV) are not required to file tax returns until the first filings are due between January and March 2026. For tax residents with assessable income, tax returns must be submitted by March 31st of the following year. There are concerns regarding how to file tax returns without bank accounts.

If you are a tax resident and you have assessible income then you submit your tax return by 31st March of the following year ie if you are submitting a return for 2025 it is due by March 31st 2026.
