What is the process and requirements for obtaining a visa to Hong Kong?

Our gym has done a few DTV visas for HK nationals via soft power category.

A couple of things

1. They require evidence of 6 months of Muay Thai experience

2. 6-month course or longer is required.

3. They are generally more stringent.

That being said we have had successful applicants apply in Hong Kong. All were Hong Kong residents though.

Do you need a visa for Hong Kong? For a short trip to Hong Kong, then many countries do have free visa exemption entry into Hong Kong? What country's passport is going to be used?

I believe you have to have Hong Kong or Macau residency.
