Applied in person at Dubai Consulate. Needed some slight rewording on the letter from my company. They told me what it needed to say, resubmitted yesterday and pick up passport tomorrow.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their experience applying for a Thai visa at the Dubai Consulate, mentioning that they needed to reword a letter from their employer. Other commenters discuss the speed of different consulates, ask about the application process and costs, and inquire about specific requirements such as company certification and documentation for remote work. They also discuss concerns about Emirates ID validity and the necessity of return tickets or hotel bookings for their stay in Thailand.

Did you also need a return ticket from Thailand to Dubai or another country, or just the inbound flight? Can I also ask if your Emirates ID was expiring in less than 6 months? Because I read in the visa requirements that it must be valid for at least 3 months from the day of the trip, but I can’t book the appointment without selecting at least 6 months of UAE visa validity, so I’m a bit worried. Also, I booked the ticket through Trip dot Com, and now I see they want it booked directly from the airline’s website 🥲🥲🥲

One last thing: for your stay in Thailand, did you show a hotel booking or an Airbnb receipt?

I’m also planning to apply DTV in Dubai consulate. Do they ask for like company certificate from your employer or you just need letter from employer stating you can work remotely? Thanks

It’s quite interesting some consulates/embassies are really fast like the one in Vancouver and other ones are really slow
