You can try to apply again. Your application was likely cancelled because it contained incorrect personal info. Maybe the mrz scanner changed some info after parsing your passport photo.

that really should be highlighted by the application and not used as fault. There is many issues work machine readable version compared to how your name is written in plain. It's really stupid.

I honestly believe that all applications are reviewed by AI software.
There is no way that each and every embassy or consulate have staff on hand who can read and interpret documents in english, Swedish, german, Korean .....
You are all at the mercy of AI now and its not until the very end that someone with a pulse even glances at your application.

Official submission languages are English and Thai. Of course consulates in various countries may have staff who understand a local language and are willing to accept documents in that language.

Bank statements, communication with clients when seeking a workation visa amongst other documents required are not always in English but in the persons native language.Im still convinced that its AI that is scanning and analysing the submitted documents and giving a edited report to the officer who has the case

If you upload the picture of your passport after you filled in the form it can change the name and add digits, this happened to my partner 🫣 had to pay the fee and reapply but was then successful 😊

The visa fee is forfeit. They make it very clear on the application that you have to check carefully for spelling names, etc etc and there are no refunds for your mistake. Your tuition fee is completely separate and subject to the providers terms. They may offer cancellation, but there’s nothing to stop you from applying again. It’s not like you can’t come, you just have to start again.Naman *******
