Very clear from this update with 12,000 approvals in the first four months that the country is not getting overwhelmed by applicants.

Also if you watch it you will see they actively want more applying and coming as it " will boost the economy"

I doubt there will be any tightening of requirements in the near future.

It would also appear to be very clear that extension could be a bureaucratic nightmare and border bouncing or overseas visits would be advisable
