I got a DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) about two weeks ago and had planned to fly to Thailand next week. Unfortunately, it looks like I won’t be able to make the trip.

With a regular tourist visa, you usually have to enter the country within 3 months — but this one says “valid from May 10 until…” and I’m not sure what that means exactly in terms of deadlines.

Does anyone know if my visa will become invalid if I don’t enter Thailand within those 3 months? Would appreciate any insight. 🙏

And? Visa has issued date and valid till, and you can enter in this interval, no difference if it is tr visa, metv, DTV or other.

You can enter any time in next 5 years and your visa remains valid. But do note, your visa is active from date of issue, not from first entry, so if you come in a year for first time, you will only have 4 years left

Edit: You say only got from May 10 plus 3 months??? That's not DTV, should say May 10 2025 to May 9 2030
