Not sure what post your passport and e-appointment means. I already submitted a pic of my passport and when I submitted my visa app the appointment time had already passed. Any help would be great

TLDR : Answer Summary
The term 'post your passport' refers to mailing your passport along with a printed copy of your e-appointment, which includes a barcode. When submitting a visa application, it is essential to attach any required documents, which may include a prepaid self-addressed envelope for return, and to ensure that the submission is made via special delivery for security.
