Hi all, I just want to summarize my application experience for anyone else using the medical soft power route. My Visa agent told me my appointment for an in person evaluation was not good enough. I needed documentation of my 6-month treatment plan from that evaluation.

I am only 48 so not eligible for the retirement Visa. Therefore, paying for a visit to Thailand to get this evaluation was much cheaper than an elite Visa.

Now, I have all the necessary documentation and my Visa agent is preparing my application for submission.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their experience with the medical soft power route for visa applications to Thailand, highlighting the importance of documentation for the six-month treatment plan required by their visa agent. They note that, as they are under 50 and not eligible for a retirement visa, traveling to Thailand for the evaluation was a more cost-effective option than seeking an elite visa. Comments from others suggest extending the treatment duration to reinforce application credibility.

I'd suggest going a bit over 6 months if the doctor is amenable to that
