TLDR : Answer Summary
A list of required documents for immigration in Pattaya includes various forms and payments as noted by users, with specific comments on TM30 and embassy letters for particular nationalities, along with experiences and procedures for extending visas in different locations.
My name is upendra I live in India I am work in Hyundai company in India country my experience is 3 years in Hyundai company workshop computer operator in {beeaar Hyundai gorakhpur city in India} dear friends any job available in any company .
Was told today that after applying & then returning after 20 days for the actual 30 day stamp, they want further copies of all documents? Can anyone confirm if this is true?
You should be able to, if the place you are staying in Bangkok has done a TM30 for you (almost all hotels do this automatically). Jamie says Bangkok don't need proof of future stay.
If you on a tourist entry / amnesty, doing this 30 day thing, you aren't considered to have a particular residence, where you "reside" the last while is just where you happen to have been as a tourist.
So you should be able to extend anywhere. When I was on tourist visas I would just go to whichever immigration office was convenient wherever I was for an extension, was never a problem.
Today I went to Phuket immigration I did the whole process long but everything was ok I need go back on October 1, has someone been told something similar? 🤔
My embassy (Germany) doesnt want to issue the letter for the Immigration. So what are the possibilities for people who cant get a letter from their embassies? I came here with a Tourist Visa.
Don't forget TM30 if staying with friends etc. It seems this should be completed within 24 hrs of arrival. Never heard of it before and my partner was 'fined' or surcharged 1600 baht for not completing it when I arrived.
Of course it is never a problem until you apply for an extension.
