What are the visa requirements for Australians and Malagasy passport holders traveling to Thailand from Madagascar?
Hello folks thanks for adding me. Does anyone have any updated information about the workings of the Thai High Commission in Antananarivo Madagascar? The website does not work at all and I can’t find an email address. I’m on an Australian passport (living in Madagascar) wanting to use Bangkok as a hub for a holiday to Bali and Thailand in July, travelling with a friend who is on a Malagasy passport. I’m assuming with Australian passport I’m ok for multiple entries issued at airports for short stays? But for my friend? So far no clue.
Answer summary
A user is seeking current information about the Thai High Commission in Antananarivo, Madagascar, as the website is down. They wish to travel from Madagascar to Thailand and Bali in July, holding an Australian passport and traveling with a friend on a Malagasy passport. It is clarified in the comments that Australians may obtain multiple entry visas upon arrival, while Malagasy passport holders need to secure a visa from a Thai consulate beforehand.

People holding a Malagasy passport need a visa to get into thailand. They'd get one at a thai consulate BEFORE they wing their way here.
BUT as far as the Thai High Commission in Madagascar I can't help you with any more information than you have, sorry. :/
