Hi, if staying in thailand on a non o based on marriage and planning to apply for a 1 year extension showing 400k at Chang Wathana. Also having spent more than 180 days here in the previous year is there any requirements/issues regarding tax? Is a tax id needed for anyone staying more than 180 days?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the tax implications of staying in Thailand on a NON-O visa based on marriage while applying for a one-year extension. They mentioned having over 400,000 THB in their account and having spent more than 180 days in Thailand in the previous year. Comments in response clarified that there is no requirement for a tax ID and no taxes are necessary for those staying over 180 days.
