Can someone who has been through the process explain more about the soft visa activities?
Where would I find more information about them and the courses? Would it apply to children as well or can they be attached to the parent visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Soft visa activities under the Thai DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) primarily include cultural and wellness experiences such as Thai cooking classes, Muay Thai training, meditation, and more, provided they are offered by approved institutions. Children can be included as dependents under the parent's visa without needing to participate in these activities themselves. For comprehensive guidance, it's advised to consult resources such as the 'Thailand DTV Visa Guide' by Niran Chaisiri.
Soft power usually means things like Muay Thai, Thai cooking schools, meditation, dance, etc. - but only if the gym or school is on the approved list. For kids, they don’t need to do activities themselves, they can be added under the parent’s DTV visa.
It can get confusing because each embassy can ask for different proof. If you want to avoid the back-and-forth and really understand the process, I’d recommend checking out Thailand DTV Visa Guide by Niran Chaisiri on Amazon. It’s the only detailed guide out there right now, and it really helps clear up these grey areas.

The children would be dependents via the main parent DTV. The soft power activities are culturally based such as Thai cooking. Muay Thai or via medical treatment. You should.check the main DTV group on FB, for tips on applying.
