Dear All,
We bought a condo in January, travelling with normal 30/60 visa end of April from Germany and need a bank account to get payments for condo issues done.
What do we need? Special visa? Documents?
Thanks for your support!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To open a bank account in Thailand as an expat, it is advisable to apply for a NON-O visa before arriving, especially if you are over 50 years old. Entering on a visa exemption may complicate the process of setting up a bank account. Additionally, certain documentation, such as proof of income or pension exceeding the required amount (about 65,000 baht per month), may be needed to support your application.
