Hi everyone!☺️ I’m looking for some advice regarding studying in Thailand.

I’m interested in taking a Thai language course and would like to know more about the ED visa process for these type of class.

Has anyone here applied for this type of visa before? I’d like to know about the requirements, costs, recommended schools, and how long the visa is usually granted. 🥹

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! 🙏🥺🇹🇭

Mickey mouse schools and courses advertised here would take you to nowhere, you will learn nothing.

Check Chulalongkorn University, they have proper Thai language education, might cost you 1 million baht, full time one year.

Edit. May rather be 200,000 THB, not a million, for 12 modules.

First you need to find a school that operates from somewhere you are happy to travel to for classes as you need to attend regularly. Then you sign up with them and they will provide the paperwork you need to get the visa. The initial visa is for 90 days and gets extended up to a year 90 days at a time, getting the extensions requires your attendance and is monitored by immigration
