Am I accurate that as a vaccinated traveler to Bangkok from a country not on the low risk list, I will have to stay at one of the designated hotels but I will be free to move around the city without restraint? I will not be locked in my room for that time?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Vaccinated travelers arriving in Bangkok from countries not on the low-risk list must stay at a designated hotel until they receive a negative PCR test result. Typically, this initial stay can last one night, after which they are free to roam the city, as long as they adhere to the sandbox scheme which allows movement within specified areas. If travelers are not from one of the 63 listed countries, the quarantine duration extends to 7 days for vaccinated individuals and 10 days for those who are unvaccinated.
has to be a SHA taxi, the SHA + booking for one night is inclusive of dedicated pick up to hotel, pcr test and overnight stay if it takes that long for result of test in isolation
You will wait till your 1st Covid test comes back negative, then you are free to roam the sandbox area, returning to your hotel every night. 7 nights sandbox.
you’re right. Those not in the privileged group have to be staying at the hotel for seven nights, but I’m hearing are allowed out. Those of the 63 countries are free to leave Bangkok and go elsewhere.
says restricted travel and also must have another rt pcr day 6 or 7 so that may mean you stay until after 2nd test. God knows it's Thailand they change their minds by the hour plus never make things clear :)
Hope you can get out it sure would drive me nuts with the Mrs only 20 minutes away from my hotel
