I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but after the 7 days sandbox program, do we need to retake a pcr rt/fit to fly test for domestic travel ? (BKK to HKT in my case, both are sandbox)

TLDR : Answer Summary
After completing the 7-day sandbox program in Bangkok, you generally do not need to retake a PCR test for domestic travel to Phuket, provided you are fully vaccinated. You will need to present your vaccination certificate to both the airline and authorities upon arrival in Phuket. Additionally, a negative test result within 72 hours can also suffice for entry into Phuket.

Phuket currently requires vaccination OR negative test result within 72hrs of entry. Your Bangkok paperwork should suffice if you arrive in Phuket within that timeline.

Are you doing the sandbox in Bangkok? If you're eligible for sandbox you should be fully vaccinated which should meet requirements for enter Phuket. You'll need to show your vaccine certificate to the airline and to authorities when you land.

Why would the airline check your vaccine certificate if you don't need to be vacciated if you do the ASQ (COE/Thailand pass)?

Jean specifically asked if they need a Covid test to fly inside the country and also mentioned doing the sandbox. You can only do the sandbox if you are vaccinated, so the answer to this specific instance is you don't need a Covid test and can just show your vaccination certificate. If you're not vaccinated then you would need to show Covid test results to travel to certain places domestically within Thailand.

Either way the airline will check to make sure you're eligible to enter the place you are flying to.

just check the restrictions again the week before you travel. They change often and with little warning
