I've got a couple of motorcycle helmets I want to take home .
Is there any type of boxing service at Suvarnabhumi airport so I can send them checked .
Think I may get refused for carry on as I already have a back pack with none checkable items .
If not do any of the Thai couriers do boxing without having to use their postal service ?
Thanks ๐
Nick

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to send motorcycle helmets from Suvarnabhumi Airport, as they anticipate issues with carry-on limits. Responses suggest various solutions including using Thailand's postal service at the airport for boxing and packing, purchasing boxes from local stores like Big C or Tesco, or carrying one helmet while checking the other. Some commenters also advise on ensuring the helmets are protected during travel.
I normally give them away at the end of each trip but they are quite nice and have collected a lot of stickers on them along the way so would be nice to keep them .

Wear one and carry one. No problem

Bubble wrap and assume they will throw your package around. You can Def carry on 1 helmet so just leave one to put in hold.

I would never check an expensive helmet. Only carry on.
If you are worried about too many bags, just wear it through the gate.

I advise you to box them separately then use strong tape to seal the boxes together to save money and if possible wrap and strap them.

Yes at Thailand Post office at the end of the airport. They can pack and box it there.

I just took my son's as carry on. Maybe you can do the same
I may chance it . But I don't want to abandon them at the airport. My check in is well within limits so checking them will have no problems aslong as they don't get smashed ๐

Big C and Tesco sell a range of boxes, along with "bubble wrap" for added protection, that would suit your needs.
