Reference b visa extensions and specifically jomtien it appears now in the addition of the usual photos of the applicant out front of the business and inside with 4 members of staff (who pay social) we now need to have a few photos of activities we do, so I'm a restaurant GM and it's been suggested I submit photos of me showing menus to staff and checking invoices with the cashier, checked with a few other wp holders and their recent experience is the same, maybe a covid thing as last year they did not visit the premises at all

TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent changes in visa extension requirements for restaurant managers in Jomtien, Thailand now include not just typical photos but also 'action photos' depicting daily activities. This may reflect a trend due to COVID-19, as some immigration offices have previously shifted to virtual evaluations. Other work permit holders have reported similar experiences.
I had a report from a good friend that the immigration office in his area contacted him and did a zoom video conference at his office rather than an on site visit :O
BUT
Those "action photos" are nothing new and are required at most offices. I know a guy who is the owner/director of a company and he had to put on a suit, sit at a desk, have staff standing around him pointing at some fake paperwork, etc and do some "in action" photos to satisfy immigrations
