What are the new financial requirements for a Non-O retirement visa at the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm?
Uppdate, Royal Thai embassy Stockholm.
Non-o retirement.
Now you have to show either 240.000 SEK (Swedish krona) or 800.000 THB, in a bank statement, OR an income statement from your pension payer, NOT work, for last 3 months.
Hope this will help someone applying.
Income from work is still ok for non-o family visa.

Well, this is good for the application to the 90-days Non-Imm-VISA. . . . However, what is the situation like, inside Thailand, when you apply for the 1-year Extension? Does the Swedish embassy in Bangkok still issue verified income or pension affidavits? Thai Immigration will only accept either a Thai bank deposit or an income affidavit

Roland Connedal And it is normally valid for six months. But can you confirm that several Swedes have obtained a marriage-based Non O and then been allowed to apply for their first extension in Thailand based on retirement, without waiting until the second year?

Yes, at most immigration it is valid for 6 months after it is issued. But not at all. So you have to ask your immigration what applies there. Incidentally, I cannot confirm that it works as you say regarding that extension.

I think this has been well known for some time. Stockholm is one of the few embassies that accepts pension income alone for a retirement-based Non-O visa.
