TLDR : Answer Summary
The processing time for a Thai visa from the UK can vary significantly. Some applicants have reported receiving their visa within a week, while others have experienced waits of up to four weeks. Factors affecting this timeline include the type of visa applied for, the completeness of submitted documents, and postal delays due to bank holidays. It's advisable to account for potential delays and to ensure that the return envelope used for the visa is correctly addressed.

Some people have been within a week. Mine has taken 4 weeks. I put in a recorded return envelope which was wrongand had to send a new envelope. Bank holidays Xmas post embassy in London closed for cleaning and bank holidays. Send as soon as you can there is no definite answer. Be lucky

which envelope did you have to use to return your passport John? I put a Royal Mail sign for first class stamped envelope with my address to return my passport. Is that ok?

i used recorded delivery signed for and timed out if youve got actual stamps on you are OK. If its franked you could have problems the embassy phoned me after 10 days i sent a new envelope same day and then 10 more days to return

If you've submitted all the documents and paid usually return post. A few Bank holidays coming up, Monday and Friday so could take longer.
