Hi everyone!

My husband is planning to apply for a Muay Thai DTV visa around December, and we're currently looking for an affordable gym.

We're hoping to find a gym that:

✅ Has experience supporting DTV visa applications (or is recognized by the Thai embassy)

✅ Offers a 6-month Muay Thai program

✅ Refunds the training fee if the DTV visa is denied

If you've had a good experience with a gym or successfully obtained your DTV through one, I'd really appreciate your recommendations and any tips you can share.

Thank you so much in advance! 😊
Answer summary
A user is seeking recommendations for affordable Muay Thai gyms that can assist with a DTV visa application. They request gyms with experience in visa applications, a 6-month program, and a fee refund policy if the visa is denied. Community members suggest that a training duration of 6 months may lead to higher risks of visa denial and recommend considering longer programs. Some specific gym recommendations include King of Muay Thai in Hua Hin, Muay Thai Fever in Chiang Mai, and Tiger Eye in Bangkok.

I'd highly recommend King of Muay Thai in Hua Hin. I'm doing my DTV with them

You need to do at least 9 months for DTV - anything less they will give you a METV or deny you but check out Muay thai feaver in chaing mai

You will not get a refund if DTV is denied anywhere just reapply

My only advice is to get a course that is longer than 6 months in duration, at least 9 months but ideally 12. People with only 6 month courses risk being issued an METV rather than the DTV they applied for

EnthusiasticLion3104 hi, thank you that's a good point to consider. Preferably in an area with easy access to the subway. Not too isolated.

Aysel Ismayilzada so you mean Bangkok then? Because there are Muay Thai gyms offering DTV all over Thailand… also ‘the subway’ is also quite broad. Just the MRT? Or also BTS? Bangkok is a huge city…
