A small hint, when staying in Tachilek, Myanmar, this hotel is right at the end of the border bridge, down the stairs to the Bazar.
It's still quite new and only 800 baht.
Recently they added free breakfast which is just coffee, bread, jam and some snacks.
There's no elevator so you have to climb the stairs although the staff carries your luggage.
My wife's sister has a shop next door with small handy things like a typical Birmese minimarkt.
Say hi from Lung Mau and she’ll be happy to serve ,can only speak Shan en Birmese a bit though 555)

TLDR : Answer Summary
A new hotel located at the end of the border bridge in Tachilek, Myanmar, offers rooms for 800 baht and has recently added a basic complimentary breakfast. Guests should note that there are no elevators, but the staff assists with luggage. Nearby, a small shop run by a local can provide typical Burmese goods. The conversation includes comments on the quality of hotel breakfasts in Myanmar, comparisons with Thai hotels, and discussions regarding border crossing updates for expats.
I've read several posts of people doing their border bounce in myanmar but it seems impossible to do it in ranong (from phuket) cuz the borders seem to be closed. Any news?
Correct, as John states, Ranong-Kawthoung remains closed. It has been open, at least to visit some islands, for Thai nationals since November but not to the rest of us.
Most Burmese hotels, unless they're at least 4 star, have atrocious breakfasts that are worth skipping. Bread, jam and toast is fine (similar to Thai "resorts") but not really filling. I'd probably have two slices, some tea or water then find a breakfast place outside.
Unfortunately, the 3 in 1 coffee they offer at Burmese hotels is just undrinkable, while the "orange juice" tastes like medicine. Of course it's not real orange juice.
I've heard of this place. I think it's on Agoda too. Many newer places in Tachilek (those built in the past 5-7 years) resemble hotels in Thailand and are quite good. Better than most other parts of Myanmar for hotels in the same price range.
those ones are mostly like a Km or two out of town right? There's also an older casino up on the hill somewhere overlooking town. That place is pretty dilapidated but has been around for decades and was probably the first casino inside the town proper.
