totally agree, as I was told this year I couldn't obtain the non o based on family at savanakhet consulate due to having a ed visa in my passport ( and they won't accept any ed stamp in passports) , but the school I attended was 100 per cent legit they even had immigration officers who would turn up there and inspect.

Don't use an agent for an ED visa!! Also, there's no need anyway. Anyone who has an offer from a school will receive their help in procuring a visa anyway.
