Could anyone recommend a good letting agent? I'll be looking for an apartment now I have my DTV and it would be great to have a good professional long term rental.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around finding a reliable letting agent for long-term apartment rentals in Bangkok. Several users suggest the importance of specifying the exact location in Thailand, with recommendations coming in for agents in Chiang Mai, Pattaya, and especially Bangkok. Specific agents and platforms are mentioned, such as Perfect Homes in Chiang Mai and the Property Hub app, along with a personal recommendation for a Bangkok agent sent via direct message.
Sorry I can not help you there. When I was looking in Bangkok I used FB groups and seemed to find more owners there offering direct. I found mine that way and stayed over 3 years in same place. One other way is to wander around areas you like - there are always notices about, tied on lampposts etc. If you can take a Thai friend as often the notices are in Thai. If in an area you like and you know the condo buildings you like walk in and ask the Juristic Office - they often know what is up for rent.
You probably get more for your money that way too. Agents have an interest in increasing prices. The one I had from 2019 to 2023 I paid 33k a month for. Agent advised owner to ask for 40k. After I left I saw it advertised at 40k. Landlord had wanted a 3k increase in 2023 from me but I was leaving Bangkok.

In which location? I know 2 great ones. One in Pattaya and the other Chiang Mai. Bangkok I found hit and miss even with a budget up to 50k.

Thailand is a big place. You might want to be a bit more specific about location 😒
